It's TV Time! If you watch Jersey shore, you will know I am substituting T-shirt time with TV time! LOL! If you don't watch Jersey Shore - don't start - it sucks you in like a Dyson Power Vacuum. Next thing you know you are using terms like Smush. Anyway, since it has been a few weeks of new TV, I thought it was time for a weigh in Wednesday. I am "weighing in" on the shows I watch.
MONDAY -
House ~ I have to say I am LOVING House in a relationship. I think it was super smart to add this twist. After a few seasons things can get stale but this story line in feeding my TV soul! I love to see a softer caring side and it is mixing quite well with his manipulating side perfectly. Note to mention the addition of seeing him interacting with a little girl - priceless! I was seriously cracking up this Monday! Snaps to the Writers!
Chuck ~ The Morgan / Casey moments are my favorite of the show! I love them! Hubby and I love watching this show together. It has a great balance of the things guys and girls look for in a TV program.
Mike & Molly - I really think this show is sweet. I love the characters!
TUESDAY -
Glee - I love this show. The Britney episode was great. I love everything but I need more Sue Sylvester. She makes this show great and she has been MIA lately. I was happy to see her in the promo for next week. I am also psyched to see Rocky Horror Picture show on Glee!!! YAY!
Parenthood - always entertains. I love that this show is pretty real. There are awkward moments and fights that aren't overly dramatic. It keeps it real and I keep watching. I just love it more each week.
WEDNESDAY -
So Wednesday holds a few new shows that I have been trying.
Law & Order: LA ~ Not too impressed so far but still watching. Jury is still out.
The Defenders ~ I tried this show and have now stopped watching. i just never chose it from the other options on my Tivo lineup. After accumulating 3 unwatched episodes - I made the executive decision to give it the axe. Oh, well!
The whole truth - I am really enjoying this show so far. I like how when each side makes their case you believe both. They are doing a great job of keeping the secret of who did it until the snipit at the end. I like the dynamic between the lawyers of friendly war. Fun so far. Give it a try if you haven't - it is good!
THURSDAY -
Always my favorite day of the TV week. Ever since the days of Friends - Thursday is must watch TV!
Bones - Love this show - don't like Sealy's new girlfriend but it makes for interesting TV.
Grey's Anatomy - I am really enjoying this season. I was worried after the explosive finale of last season that they would either just jump into something new or not be able to top themselves. I like how they are showing that a mass murder in a hospital would not be water under the bridge in 2 episodes. They are giving the characters "real" reactions and problems stemming from that extreme situation. I am just really enjoying watching.
The mentalist - Love Patrick Jane - still puts a smile on my face.
Private Practice - I am enjoying this too
SUNDAY - I am back on board with Desperate Housewives. I like the direction it is going so far. the Gaby daughter storyline is great with lots of potential.
So, what are your thoughts on the seasons so far? What is you favorite new show?

Some Cool Updates!
Sometimes it's cool to be blogger! So, a few weeks ago, I wrote a blogpost about the Season Premiere of Parenthood on NBC. Not long after that, I got an e-mail from a person who was involved with the Parenthood Soundtrack CD. He asked if I would post the press release and picture on my blog to help promote it, which I did. I mean how cool is it to be recognized as a TV crazy! In return he sent me a copy of the Soundtrack cd! I was so surprised and overjoyed. It's pretty cool to think that my tiny scrapbooking blog made a blip in the NBC world. It has always been sort of a dream of mine to be involved in the television industry in some way, so this was big for me!
By the way, I am loving the Parenthood season so far. Funny and real. Love it! The soundtrack ROCKS! I love that it is mellow and fun. Great to put on in the background while eating dinner. I recommend!
In other news, I have updated the Halloween kits on My Etsy site. I have added options for the photo tray kits. You can now purchase the Halloween kits separately (no tray included) for $25.00 + shipping. You can purchase the Photo trays alone for $19.95 + Shipping. Or you can purchase the All inclusive kits for a reduced amount of $40.00 + shipping. I thought it would give you more options! Also, if you don't like Paypal or Esty - you can always e-mail me with your interest and we can work out payment. The materials are all ready to ship so you will get them in time to decorate for Halloween!
My life updates: Enjoying TV, starting a Home Improvement project (Walk-in Closet), Started a diet and working out (2 days in and SORE!), and of course counting down the days till my Tim Holtz class! (26 days). Other than that - getting ready to start Christmas cards and gifts! Lots of crafting in my future! Which reminds me, I have to get hubby to hook up the cable in my scrap studio.
Sorry for the babbling today! More videos and projects coming soon!

Just Babbling!
So, I thought I would share a bit about my other passion. TV! I can't tell you how excited I am that Fall TV is BACK!!! I do my best during the summer to find things that entertain me but it's not easy. I usually can only muster luke warm feelings for Summer programming. So, you can imagine how stoked I am now that my highly addictive programming is here. Now, granted most of the season premieres start next week. However, I am glad to see some shows are starting early.
Tonight Gossip girl has returned. XOXO! I realize that this show is for teenagers but - I like it. Is it an absolute favorite - no, but it entertains me. For any fans out there - here is where we left off last season. Blair and Serena were headed to Paris. Georgina returned with a very large bun in her oven with Dan's name on it. Nate was looking like Mr. Playboy trying to forget Serena. Jenny was being sent away. and the most shocking - Chuck was shot in an alley and his engagement ring was stolen!!! Oh, how will it all turn out - tune in tonight at 9pm to find out!
Tomorrow Parenthood returns. I actually only started watching this show because it starred Lauren Graham and I am a huge Gilmore Girls fan. It took me 3 episodes and I was hooked. I think it is a good show and hope they don't ruin it as so many shows tend to do in season 2.
Wednesday - America's Next Top Model is back for another season of skinny girls complaining. I don't know why I watch this show, but I am convinced that it helped me get pretty wedding pictures. Smize!
So, now that you know what is new this week, let me explain my Fall premiere philosophy. When it comes to new shows I am always leery. The new trend in TV these days is if there aren't a million people watching - it gets cancelled. Especially new shows. I try not to get too invested too soon - just in case. A girl has to protect herself. To many times I have fallen for a show and it was ripped from me after 5 episodes. GRRRRRR! So, I pick which shows sound interesting - This year Mike and Molly (again Gilmore Girls "Suki"), Hawaii 5-0 (I used to watch the original and I think Hubby might like it) and The Defenders (I am a sucker for Vegas, this show has potential to be cancelled after 3 episodes but I am going to give it a try).
I give these new shows 3 episodes to establish characters and story lines - if I am not excited about the show after that - I drop it from my Tivo line-up.
So I will write more next week during the BIG Premiere week! But I thought I would ease you into my crazy TV world slowly.
Remember - Never apologize for your TV choices (no matter how cheesy)!!!

Update!
Yes, I am still here! I have been super busy lately. I have had some type of event every weekend. Every spare minute I have to craft has been devoted to making the kits for my mini album class. They are looking great! I have altered paper clips, made what feels like a billion camelot doop flowers, cut up bling and more! I am trying to do a few things up front so the class can finish a mini album in 2 hours. Not an easy task! I still have lots to do but I find it fun!
I will be selling a limited number fo kits for the mini album here on my blog!
The only down side of being so busy...I don't have much to share with all of you! I have come up with a great idea for another class. I can't wait to tell you about it!
On to my other passion: TV
Summer tv is always a different animal. There are only maybe 1 or 2 shows worth watching a night, if that! Here is what is on my TV schedule for summer!
Mondays:
*Last Comic Standing (Glad it is back!)
*Make it or Break it (cheezy, teen show but I Love it!, Don't judge!)
*The Closer
Tuesdays:
*Hell's Kitchen (I am kind of over this show but hubby likes it)
*Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-list (She is hilarious!)
*Hawthorne
*Memphis Beat (I will try it, but I am skeptical)
Wednesdays:
*Top Chef (LOVE!)
*Work of Art (Project Runway for artists - I like to see them come up with their ideas)
Thursdays:
*Glee reruns
*Burn Notice
*Royal Pains
Sundays:
*Next Food Network Star
*Design Star
Given that is far below my nightly average - I have more time to craft! I plan to get many projects done. More projects coming - I promise!!!!! I hope you are enjoying your spring/summer! What are your summer TV favorites???

Where have I been???
Well, I can't believe how long since my last post! I feel like such a bad blogger! I have been super busy. I have been planning and creating for the classes I will be teaching - secret stuff for now. So I haven't been able to share that with you...yet. It is my first time teaching a scrap class and it is challenging to make sure the project rocks, is within the price point, able to be completed within the time slot and did I mention it needs to ROCK! I am trying really hard to maximize my materials so people get the most for their money and walk away with something spectacular. This requires a balance of online and LSS shopping. Anyway, that's whats been eating up my scrap time.
As for the other time sucks in my life right now - job search, substitute teaching on my day off, work is picking up (finally!), tv and my hubby!
My current tv obsessions are as follows:
~Glee - OMG I love this show!
~LOST - final season is supposed to be answering questions and I have more than ever! So frustrating and addicting! Love it!
~The Mentalist - Patrick Jane is just so sexy to me - don't ask me why, it is mystery to me too! - just is. My hubby loves making fun of how I get a smile every time it comes on.
~Greys and Private Practice - I m really loving the story lines this season for both shows. So glad Izzy is gone!!! YAY!
Anyway, I am so sorry I have been MIA lately! I will try to do better with the posting. I usually don't like to post without a video but with time flying - it is a necessary evil! Don't give up on me! I am still here.
UPDATE: I am still doing the grungeboard series - I am waiting patiently for the new Tim Holtz texture fades. Once I have them in hand, we will begin! I have been planning that too and you will LOVE it! Trust me!!! Thank you all for being patient!!!

Summer TV
OK, so I thought I would talk a bit about my other obsession. TV - hence amy v loves tv! I have a husband who is a morning person and goes to bed fairly early and I am a night owl and stay up late. They say opposites attract right? Anyway, after he goes to bed I either scrapbook or watch tv or do both at the same time! I find Summer tv is hit or miss. Most often summer tv is reality based. I don't tend to like reality tv for the most part, but in the summer I have to extend my tolerence. Here are a few suggestions that I have been watching and enjoying. Let me know if you are watching any of them too!
My husband and I enjoy watching Food reality shows such as, Food Network Challenge, Chopped (Food Network), Top Chef Masters (bravo). My husband used to cook at an inn during college so he likes to tell me what he would change and how easy the challenges are. Hey, as long as he keeps cooking me delicious food, I am not going to complain!
We love competing against each other in Jeopardy each night!
Other reality shows we have been watching - Here come the Newlyweds, Wipeout, I survived a Japanese gameshow. These are crazy funny shows. You would think I would get tired of seeing someone take a digger off a big ball into water, or get covered in flour but nope, it delivers laughs ever time!
My guilty pleasures include: The fashion show (it's keeping me happy until Project Runway in August!)and Kathy Griffin: My life on the D-list (That girl cracks me up!), as does The Daily Show and Colbert Report.
I am enjoying Royal Pains, the Closer and Hawthorne but the well is not deep when it comes to non-reality shows in the summer. These are good shows, but I don't know why they can't spread the love between seasons! They have 3 great shows on the same time the same day during the fall but nothing on during the summer! Grrr, it makes me mad!
OK, you are probably thinking wow all she does is watch tv. Not true. I do watch alot but let me explain why. I don't have kids yet, my job stays at work, I work out after work, and my husband goes to bed at 9:30 each night. I am up till at least 11pm sometimes 12am. That leaves 2-3 hours a night of alone time when I am wide awake with not much to do. I don't like video games and I only read books on the weekends and usually not at night. I usually scrap as I watch or surf the internet while tv is on in the background.
I have a TIVO (the best invention EVER!) so I don't miss anything and can watch shows faster without comercials!
I know there are people who don't own a tv or just don't watch but what can I say, It's one of theose things that makes me, me. I am proud to be a couch potatoe! It will all change someday when I have kids...I hear they take up alot of time but for now TV keeps me happy and entertained!
