NSD Beach Challenges

OK, so I was super bummed out that we were going away this weekend. I missed National Scrapbooking Day!!!! BOO!!!! I did however rush home from work so I could complete a few of the challenges. Here are my submissions for the following challenges. They were super fun to do and I had lots of fun scrapping the random things for once! I hope you like them!

Challenge #4 - Color crazy - you had to use 2 primary colors (Blue and yellow) and the secondary color they make (green). You are allowed to use white or black as well. Here si the card I made. I used the Home collection from Michaels. Love those papers. I also added a prima flower and a button from my stash.

Challenge #5 - Outside the box - in this challenge you were not allowed to use any squares or rectangles. I chose to use a coaster and a circle cutter which also satisfies Challenge #1 but I am not sure you can submit the same layout for 2 challenges!) Anyway, I added a prima flower and a prima bling. I also stamped a journaling spot.

Challenge #9 - Tag - You had to use a tag on a project. I chose to use the other side of the coaster and I added a tag and a pocket. There is a dirty photo on the back as this is about my first performance as Foxy Britches (my Stripper 101 name). A fun mini is being made about me and hubby's relationship. Fun!

Challenge #12 - No pictures - In this challenge you had to make a layout with no pictures. This was the perfect opportunity to scrap about my first substitute teaching day. I obviously don't have any pictures but really had a moment I don't want to forget. Thank you for this challenge. The journaling reads, "The moment - My first day subbing. The day went well as an aid. Then the last class of the day I met Andy. A boy who said he hated school. We talked 1 on 1. I helped him get his binder together and he said, "Thank you, you are nice!" Though I could expand on this story I just never wanted to forget the first time I helped a student.
