Christmas Fun Day 4

Here is another Christmas card! It came out super cute! I love the houses and the sentiment on the stamp.

I hope you are having fun decorating and getting ready for the Holidays. I have been busy! I decided to go with white lights on my Christmas tree this year. A huge decision for me! I have always had a "Fun" tree! Colored lights, silver tinsel, funky ornaments. Even when my Mom decided she wanted a boring tree with white lights, red bows & gold ornaments. I made my parents put up a second tree decorated the fun way! Yes, I was a bit spoiled and got my way.

I knew things would have to change this year because the multi-colored lights would clash with our red accent wall in the living room. I decided I would try the white lights but would not budge on the funky ornaments. I think it came out awesome! Last year I strung red, green and white puff balls on string and made my own garland. It still has a funky flare that tells my life story with ornaments I made in 3rd grade and the my first pair of glasses. I just love the tree and next to the fireplace with the stockings hung on the mantel, it looks like a christmas card. I love it! I never thought I would have such a picturesque house. It is all so exciting.

  1. Amy, I love the glimpse into your living room! I absolutely adore your tree!! My tree is the same way, from my first knitted booties to a Santa in a broken rocking chair, the ornaments on my tree each have their own story. My girls and I put them on every year and enjoy the memories. Love the cards!! I can't decide which I like better!!! I love all 4 of them! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas in your new home! Oh, your blog candy will be mailed on Monday... you know me... it takes time. It will be worth the wait, I think. :)

  2. Amy I love your tree and living room it is georgous... You did an excellent job.

  3. Amy - thanks for letting me use yer Santa Stop Here card idea for my son's class. I know that they will enjoy making this fun card. Really cute and simple. I love how you come up with such great ideas in such a short time.
